How to save MONEY!

Buy global brands! You're most likely to save money if you go with brands or shops with the buying power of large scale bulk buying. Local brands don't jave this advantage so avoid them at all costs.

One top tip from a recent vistor to Bangkok, Thailand is to buy water, not from the local springs - they cost too much! - but go to the local Tesco Lotus and buy Highland Spring - shipped all the way from Scotland at a fraction of the cost of Highland Spring in the UK and even uncutting locally owned spring water companies! TOP TIP

The other way to save money is to buy from street traders. And don't be afraid to haggle! Those few coin might mean more to them than to you, but you can always beat down a local trader.

And don't forget the photo opportunity a local market gives you. Take those photos that really prove you've been somewhere else... And you don't even have to ask for consent! They don't speak English anyway.
